DEBBIE’S COUNTRY COOKIN’ CLEANING TIP:
To remove mineral deposit from the inside of a steam iron,
fill it with equal parts water and white vinegar. Let it steam
for several minutes, then disconnect and let set for 1 hour.
Empty and rinse with clear water.

     Easy Pork Chops with Stuffing
 
4 (1/2 inch thick) bone in pork loin chops           
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt                                  
1/4 teaspoon pepper                                           
1 1/4 cups water                                                 
1 (6 ounce) package herb stuffing mix for pork    
2 cups Frozen Broccoli Florets                            
 
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Sprinkle pork chops with seasoned salt and pepper.
Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium high heat
until hot. Add pork chops; cook 4 to 6 minutes or until browned on both sides. Remove
chops from skillet. Add water and seasoning packet from stuffing mix to same skillet.
Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add stuffing; toss until moistened. Spoon into ungreased
 12 x 8 inch (2 quart) baking dish. Arrange broccoli and pork chops over stuffing. Cover with foil. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until pork chops are fork tender and no longer pink in center.
Makes 4 servings.

Spaghetti Salad
 
20 oz spaghetti                                     
1 1/2 tsp. salt                                        
3/4 tsp. garlic powder                            
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes                       
1 tsp. celery seeds                                
1 tsp. poppy seeds                                
1 tsp. caraway seeds                             
2 tsp. parsley flakes                               
1- 8 ounce bottle Italian dressing             
1 bunch green onions, chopped               
1/3 bottle of McCormick Salad Supreme   


Cook spaghetti. Drain. (I run cold water over the spaghetti to cool it down quickly so I can
mix it and eat it right away.) Add all ingredients. It is best if left overnight, but we can never
seems to stay out of it that long.

Fantasy Fudge
 
3/4 cup margarine or butter                   
3 cups sugar                                        
2/3 cup evaporated milk                        
1 pkg (12oz) semisweet chocolate chips 
1 jar (7oz) marshmallow cream              
1 teaspoon vanilla                                 
 
MICROWAVE method:
Lightly grease 13x9 inch or 9 inch square pan. Microwave margarine in 1 quart microwavable
bowl or casserole on high for 1 min. or until melted. Add sugar and milk; mix well.
Microwave on high 5 minutes or until mixture begins to boil; stirring after 3 minutes. Mix well;
scrape bowl. Pour into prepared pan. Cool at room temperature and cut into squares.
 
TOP OF STOVE method:
Lightly grease 13x9 inch or 9 inch square pan. Mix margarine, sugar and milk in heavy 2.5 - 3 quart saucepan; bring to full rolling boil on medium heat stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes on medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Cool at room temperature and cut into squares.
